Arthur Emmanuel Darvill and Frank Dracott, The Men who Never Were
My interest in genealogy was first aroused when I had sight of the marriage certificate of my wife's grandmother, Alice. Her father's name was given as "Arthur Emmanuel Darvill", but in her youth, Alice was also known as "Alice Dracott" and "Alice Allen". Clearly, there was a story to uncover.
This account, published in the March 2018 edition of Genealogists' Magazine, is the culmination of a twenty-five year investigation into Alice's family.
